Aloha!

Meet our dog ‘Ele – the inspiration for Club Aloha designs. 

 

She is our 9-year-old Chinese Shar Pei.  She came into our family when she was 9 weeks old and was black as velvet, which is how we name her ‘Ele‘Ele — meaning black in Hawaiian, she’s dark chocolate now.  She is the best dog we’ve ever had (although SHE doesn’t know she’s a dog) and has the run of the house and our lives.  She loves going to the beach and doggie day care, and of course, is always wearing her latest designer collar with matching leash.  She is such a joy along with our cat Gabby (Gabrielle - our Calico).  Unfortunately our gray and white tabby, Izzie (Isabella) is no longer with us.  We named our cats after two of our favorite Hawaiian music artists - Gabby for Gabby Pahinui and Izzie for Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
 

Oh, she also loves to “herd” Gabby.
